black, hungry creature

Acres of fields, ripen paddies
That tall slim element
Swinging, almost collapsing
Its body full of grain – so filled with tiny beeds

Acres of yellowish, greenish slots
The leaves, the body – swaying left and right
The wind blowing – lazily – playing games maybe
The acres’ uniformity mesmerizes a mind!

Lo! That black creature!
Invading the magnificent view
Destroying the uniformity
Creating vast hollow spots

Alas, the uniformity collapsed
The sight seem far less alluring
That black hungry creature! How dare!
Who can blame?
That black hungry creature
Is just a black hungry creature!

What are you?
